# Typeform

> Connect Typeform to xpander and give agents its 29 actions: how to create the API key and connect it, and which actions to hold for approval.

HTTP API connector

An HTTP API described by an OpenAPI spec, not an MCP server. Calls go to `https://api.typeform.com` and carry an API key as a bearer token in the `Authorization` header.

## What the skill can do

API connector: 29 actions, as they appear in the skill panel. 10 of them create, change or delete something in Typeform; mark those under **These actions need approval** when you add the skill to an agent.

* **Form management** (7): Retrieve All Forms, Update Partial Form, Create New Form, Retrieve Custom Form Messages, Update Custom Messages, Retrieve Form By Id, Update Entire Form
* **Workspace management** (6): Retrieve Account Workspaces, Retrieve All Workspaces, Create New Workspace, Retrieve Workspace By Id, Update Partial Workspace, User Management Retrieve Authenticated User
* **Image service** (6): Retrieve Images Collection, Retrieve Image By Size, Create New Image, Retrieve Image By Id, Retrieve Background By Size, Retrieve Choice Image By Size
* **Theme management** (4): Retrieve Theme By Id, Retrieve All Themes, Create New Theme, Update Entire Theme
* **Response analysis** (3): Retrieve Form Responses, Retrieve Response File, Retrieve Form Insights
* **Webhook service** (3): Create Or Update Webhook, Retrieve Form Webhooks, Retrieve Single Webhook

## Connect Typeform

In Xpander Chat, open the agent's settings, click **Add skill**, and search for **Typeform**. The connect dialog asks for a connection name and whether the connection is for the **Organization** (one shared account) or **Personal** (your own account, so the agent acts with your permissions where systems allow). On an agent other people use, a personal connection runs their requests as you unless the binding requires each person's own sign-in; see [whose credential a shared agent uses](https://docs.xpander.ai/use/agents/permissions.md#whose-credential-a-shared-agent-uses).

Typeform connects with an API key. Create the key in Typeform ([https://www.typeform.com/](https://www.typeform.com/)), paste it into the dialog, and click **Connect**. The key goes to the vault; the agent references it and never sees the value.

Calls go to `https://api.typeform.com`.

## Give an agent the Typeform skill

Once Typeform is connected, any agent you can edit may be given the skill: open the agent's settings, click **Add skill**, and choose **Typeform**. Enable only the action groups the agent needs, and mark the actions that should wait for a named person's sign-off under **These actions need approval**. Which skills exist for your organization, and who may add them, is decided by your admins; see [Skills](https://docs.xpander.ai/use/skills.md).
